The seller is SIA AKAL, registration number 40203537407, Gotfrīda iela 9, Krogsils, Ķekavas pagasts, Ķekavas novads, LV-2111, Latvia. To request a return or report a problem, email support@hostshield.store with your name, order number, contact email, and the reason for contacting us.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or another country that provides an equivalent mandatory right, you may withdraw from an eligible online product purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

Use the prominent Withdraw from contract function or send an unambiguous statement to support@hostshield.store before the 14-day period ends. Include enough information to identify the order. After notifying us, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date you told us of the withdrawal. Contact us first for the current return instructions; do not send a parcel without return authorisation. Using the online function records the submission time and sends a dated acknowledgement; it does not automatically confirm eligibility or issue a refund.

Condition of returned goods

You may inspect a product as you would in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product's nature, characteristics, and operation. Where practical, return the product complete and securely packed with its supplied accessories and original packaging.

Return costs

For a change-of-mind withdrawal, you normally pay the direct cost of returning the product unless we agree otherwise. SIA AKAL covers a reasonable return method when the supplied product is incorrect, damaged on arrival, or faulty. Contact us before arranging that return so we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Refund timing and method

For a valid withdrawal, we refund payments received for the returned goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received or you provide evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first. The refund is made without undue delay and no later than the applicable legal deadline, normally using the original payment method. You will not be charged a refund fee, although your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion terms.

Incorrect, damaged, or faulty items

Check the parcel after delivery and contact us promptly if the wrong item was supplied, an item was damaged in transit, or a fault appears. Include a description and clear photos or video where that reasonably helps us assess the issue. We will offer the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.

Legal guarantee and warranty

EU consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that do not conform to the contract. This legal guarantee is separate from, and is not reduced by, any additional commercial warranty. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, or failure to follow supplied instructions is not a product defect, but this does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Orders outside the European Union

Customers outside the European Union may have different cancellation or return rights under local law. SIA AKAL will honour all mandatory rights that apply to the sale. Where no mandatory withdrawal right applies, ask us before returning an unused item and we will confirm whether a discretionary return can be accepted.

Email support@hostshield.store first so we can review the order and proposed resolution. Nothing in this policy restricts your right to contact the competent consumer-protection authority or bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
