Terms of Service
These terms apply when you buy HostShield products or use the HostShield dashboard and digital guest guidebook service.
HostShield lock boxes are sold for short-term rental and property access use. Product prices, shipping costs, taxes, and delivery estimates are shown before payment. Orders are processed through Stripe, and order confirmation is sent by email after successful payment.
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of property instructions, emergency contacts, WiFi details, house rules, and guest-facing content entered in the dashboard. HostShield may suspend access where an account is used for abuse, unlawful content, fraud, or attempts to compromise the service.
Returns, refunds, cancellations, and delivery timing are governed by the Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy. The digital guidebook is provided as an operational tool and does not replace the host's own legal, safety, or guest communication obligations.
